INTRODUCTION
Dr. Rinki Sharma, is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. She also heads the Center for Control Systems and Robotics Research. She obtained her PhD from Coventry University U.K. in 2015 with specialization in Wireless Networks. She has more than 13 years of experience in teaching and research. Her areas of interest are Wireless Communication, Wireless Networks (particularly mobile ad-hoc networks and wireless sensor networks), Data Communication, Computer Networks and Protocols, Network Security, In-vehicle Networking and Protocols and Telematics.
She was the Principal Investigator of the sponsored research project on Soldier Ad Hoc Networks, for Center for Artificial Intelligence and Research (CAIR), DRDO, Bangalore. This project involved design and development of soldier ad-hoc network and establishment of communication between ad-hoc devices based on the developed protocol.
She has 26 publications in reputed Journals and Conferences, and 2 Book Chapters. She has obtained 4 international patents for her research work. She has delivered over 80 workshops, seminars, invited talks and corporate trainings to renowned organizations and institutes. In her teaching and research carrier she has successfully mentored many post-graduate theses and group projects. She is also a mentor for scholars pursuing doctoral research.
